To Whom It May Concern,
This is an entirely unsolicited letter. Mr. Robert Burroughs served as the
listing agent for two residential properties my wife and I sold in the fall of
2006, and in August 2007. In the process of guiding us through these sales,
Robert provided extraordinary service and results in two very different markets.
These two properties were the 7th and 8th homes we’ve sold, working with 5
different Real Estate agents in 4 states. These prior home sales have provided a
reasonably broad base of experience lending credibility to our opinion that
Robert accomplished the marketing and sale of our Washington-area homes in a
superbly professional and extraordinarily effective manner.
In the sale of one home during the fall of 2006, Mr. Burroughs’
recommendations regarding maintenance and upgrades, combined with his expertise
in pricing and marketing resulted in a quick turnaround sale (8 days) at
top-of-the-market prices, in market conditions that favored the seller. In
August 2007 we sold our principal residence during very different market
conditions, which favored the buyer. Robert’s aggressive marketing and
willingness to patiently and knowledgeably negotiate issues as they arose with a
first-time home buyer brought success in a significantly different, and tougher,
sales market.
In over 30 years of real estate ownership and marketing Robert is the finest
real estate agent I’ve had the opportunity to work with. In the sale of two
homes, during two very different market conditions, he has proven to be
knowledgeable, highly principled, flexible, creative, and willing to do what’s
required to get the job done. This professional listens carefully, works hard,
and delivers results.
He has earned my full trust and confidence. I am confident your decision to
engage him will bring the same results.
Sincerely,
Jack H. Mechanic
